Laminate Saunas are made from smooth14mm Nordic Fir Wood panels with moisture barrier and thermal insulation sandwiched in between. The panels are prefabricated in easy to assemble sections. This design of sauna is more common in installations in domestic properties where space is at a premium and the units are installed in the corner of a room close to existing plasterboard/plaster walls. The original and most authentic design of sauna, constructed from Solid " tongue and grooved" 45mm thick Nordic Fir Logs. These saunas are considered to offer the more genuine sauna experience with the heat and moisture absorbed by the thick timber and then radiated back into the cabin. This is said to give a more gentle experience. (All our Saunas are available with a wide range of options including door design, windows, stove upgrades etc.)
